Merriya's Dress

Stage 2 of the , formal/fancy wear. Ms. Merriya in her hella fancy dress. I stuck with the initial sketch idea with a trump theme, but made it even fancier. Took some inspiration from Yoh and Kira Imai. I think the scan is sort of crooked . . . it is, isn't it? Meh . . .

She can act as a healer to wounded senshi, or attack enemies with poison syringes. Despite only having 1 usable eye, her aim is dead-on!

Merriya grew up in Pakistan, but moved to England when she was 10 to study abroad. Her parents wanted her to grow up in a safer environment. She still speaks to her parents in her native tongue, but tries not to use it outside very often because of racism. Getting called a terrorist is never fun, especially when the same people whose lives you are saving are the ones casting stones. The patience taught to her by her late grandmother, whome she lived with until she was 15, is what keeps her strong.

This lone senshi fights alongside whomever needs her (often Sailor Wildflower), but hopes to find a permanent troupe eventually.

In the future, she will be discovered by Sailor Aries and recruited to fight with her.
